٥٣١٢ - علي بن أحمد بن طالب المُعَدَّل، في أيام الدارقطني، كان معتَزِليًا. له كتابٌ رَدَّ فيه على الرافضة، انتهى. قال الخطيب: سألت أبا القاسم التنوخي عنه فقال: كان من متكلِّمي المعتزلة، ومات سنة ٧ أو ٣٧٨. سمع منه أبو عبد الله الصَّيْمَري شيئًا من روايته، عن أبي سعيد العدوي.
