٥١٨٣ - ز - عدي بن محمد بن حاتم البصري، نزيل خُرَاسان، روى عن محمد بن عدي الجرجاني، عن أبيه، عن الزهري، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر رفعه: "يكون في آخر الزمان: الرَّأيُ خير من العمل، والعملُ للساعة خيرٌ من الرأي، قلت: وما الرأي؟ قال: محبةُ عليّ". أورده حمزة السهمي في "تاريخ جرجان"، عن علي بن أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بالبصرة، عن زيد بن محمد بن علي، عن عدي بن محمد بن حاتم، به، وقال: إنه حديث طويل، تركتُ سياقه عمدًا لأنه موضوع، ومَنْ دون الزهري إلى شيخي فيهِ، كلُّهم مجاهيل.
