٥٠٤٧ - ز - عبيد الله بن يونس بن أحمد الحنبلي، أبو المظَفَّر. سمع من أبي الوقت، وابن البَطِّي، ومسعود بن عبد الواحد بن الحصين، وغيرهم.ورحل إلى هَمَذان، فقرأ على أبي العلاء العطار، وسمع من جماعة، ثم وطن بغداد، وولي ولايات منها الوِزارة، وكان يعرف الحساب وغيره. ولم تكن سيرته محمودة، ولا طريقته مرضيّة. قاله ابن النجار، وذكر أنه حُبس بدار الخلافة إلى أن مات سنة بضع وتسعين وخمس مئة (¬١).
