    ٤٧٣٠ - ز- عبد الرحمن ابن أخي محمد بن المنكدر، قال: ابن معين: ما أعرف عبدَ الرحمن ابن أخي محمد بن المنكدر، قاله إبراهيمُ بنالجنيد، عن ابن معين قال: قلت له حدثنا داود بن مهران الدبَّاغ، حدثنا عبد الله بن داود الواسطي، عن عبد الرحمن ابن أخي محمد بن المنكدر، عن محمد بن المنكدر، عن جابر قال: قال عُمر ذات يوم لأبي بكر: يا خيرَ الناس بعد رسول الله ﷺ فقال: أَمَا لئن قلت ذلك، لقد سمعتُ رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "ما طلعَتْ الشمسُ على رجل خيرٍ من عُمر". فقال يحيى بن معين: ما أعرف عبدَ الرحمن ابن أخي ابن المنكدر، وأنكرَ الحديث، ولم يعرفه.
