    ٤٠٥١ - عامر بن شعيب، عن سفيان بن عيينة. قال أبو عبد الله الحاكم: له موضوعات، انتهى. وهو الإِسْفَنْجِي، بسكون المهملة والنون، بينهما فاء مفتوحة، ثم جيم، نسبة لقرية من نيسابور. قال الحاكم: روى عن ابن عيينة، والثقفي، وعيسى بن يونس، وابن أبي شيبة، وطبقتهم مناكيرَ، بل أحاديثَ أكثرُها موضوعات، روى عنه محمد بن المسيَّب، وأبو عوانة الإِسفراييني، وغيرهما.
