٣٠٨٥ - ز- ذو الفَقَار بن محمد بن جعفر بن مَعْبَد بن الحسن بن أحمد الحَسَني العَلَوِي، أبو الصَّمْصَام، ذكره ابن السمعاني في "الذيل" فقال: لقيتُه بالموصل، فذَكَر أنه وُلِدَ سنة خمس وخمسين وأربع مئة بمرو، وطاف بالآفاق. قال: وذكر لي أنه سمع الحديث من جماعة، وحدثني عن نِظام المُلْك، وكان مُسِنًا، لقي كبار المشايخ، وكان له ظاهر حَسَن، وكلام حُلْو، ولكني ذكرته لابن عساكر، فأساءَ الثناء عليه، وقال: قدم علينا دمشق، ووعظ، وأظهر الزَّندقة. قال أبو سعد: وذكر لي ولده أبو الفرج أنه مات سنة ست وثلاثين وخمس مئة.
