٣٠٣٨ - داود بن عثمان الثَّغْرِي، حدَّث بمصر عن الأوزاعي. قال العُقيلي: يُحدِّث بالبواطيل.حدثنا يحيى بن عثمان بن صالح، حدثنا داود … فذكر حديثًا غريبًا، انتهى. وهو ما رواه داود، عن الأوزاعي، عن أبي معاذ، عن أبي هريرة رفعه، قال: "شَرَفُ المؤمن صلاتُه بالليل، وعزُّه استغناؤه عما في أيدي الناس". قال العقيلي: وهذا يُروى عن الحسن وغيره من قولهم، وليس له أصل مُسنَد.
