٢٦١٩ - [ز- الحسين بن يوسف بن المُطَهَّر الحِلِّي، عالم الشيعةوإمامهم ومصنِّفهم، وكان آيةً في الذكاء. شرح "مختصر ابن الحاجب" شرحًا جيدًا، سَهْل المأخذ، غاية في الإِيضاح، واشتهرت تصانيفُه في حياته. وهو الذي رد عليه الشيخ تقيُّ الدين بن تيمية في كتابه المعروف بـ "الردّ عَلَى الرافضي"، وكان ابن المطهّر مشتهر الذكر، ريّض الأخلاق. ولما بلغه بعضُ كتاب ابن تيميّة قال: لو كان يفهمُ ما أقول لأجبته]. ومات في المحرم سنة ست وعشرين وسبع مئة عن ثمانين سنة، وكان في آخِر عمره انقطع في الحِلَّة إلى أن مات].
