٢٥٧٦ - ز- الحسين بن علي بن محمد بن إسحاق الحَلَبي، محدث مشهور. روى عن المَحَاملي، وابن عُقدة، وعمر بن الربيع الخشاب، وغيرهم. روى عنه أبو العلاء الواسطي، وعلي بن أحمد النُّعَيمي. قال الخطيب: ما علمت من حاله إلَّا خيرًا، وكان يوصَف بالحفظ والمعرفة. وذكر له ابن عساكر حديثًا وقال: له غرائب. وسيأتي في ترجمة عبد الوهاب بن موسى الإِشارةُ إليه [٤٩٨٧].
