    ٢٤٧٧ - ز- الحسين بن بِشْر الأسدي، ذكره ابن أبي طي في "رجال الشيعة الإِمامية" وقال: إنه كان محدثًا فاضلًا، جيد الخط والقراءة، عارفًا بالرجال والتواريخ، جَوَّالًا في طلب الحديث، اعتنى بحديث جعفر الصادق، ورتَّبه على المسند، وسماه "جامع المسانيد" كَتَب منه ثلاثة آلاف قائمة، ومات ولم يتمّه. ووثقه الشيخ المفيد، ومن شيوخه محمد بن علي بن سليمان، حدثه عن حَنَان بن سَدِير وغيره.
