    ٢٠١٨ - حاجِب، عن أبي الشَّعْثاء البصري، وعن الحسن وغيره. وعنه الأسودُ بن شيبان. قال ابن حبان: كان ممن يخطئ ويَهِمُ، حتى خرج عن حدّ الاحتجاج به إذا انفرد. وقد ذكر البخاريُّ في "الضعفاء": ابن مهدي، سمع الأسود بن شيبان، عن حاجب، عن جابر بن زيد، عن ابن عباس قال: "الحَدَثُ حدثان، أشدُّهما حدث اللسان". قال: ولم يتابَع عليه. وقال ابن عيينة: سمعت حاجبًا الأزديَّ، وكان رأسًا في الإِباضية.
