    ١٨٦٣ - ز - جعفر بن علي، قال الطبراني في "الكبير": حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن سَلْم الرازي، حدثنا إسماعيل بن موسى السدي، حدثنا جعفر بن علي، عن علي بن عابس، عن عبد العزيز بن سِيَاه، عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن سويد بن غَفَلة قال: سمعت أبا موسى الأشعري يقول: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "يكون في هذه الأمة رَجُلان ضالان، ضَالٌ مَنْ تبعهما" فقلت: يا أبا مُوسى انظر لا تكون أحدَهما. قال: والله ما ماتَ حتى رأيتُه أحدَهما. قال الطبراني بعد تخريجه: وهذا عندي باطلٌ، لأن جعفرَ بن علي شيخٌ مجهول لا يُعرف. قلت: وشيخُه قال فيه القطان، وابن معين: ليس بشيء، فالظاهر أنه الآفةُ (¬١).
