    ١٦٢٧ - بُلَيْل بن حَرب، بصري، عن فيض بن محمد، مجهول. قلت: يروي عنه أبو سعيدٍ الأشجّ. ويقال: بُلْبُل بموحَّدتين، انتهى. وكذلك ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: أبو بكر، كتب عن معاذِ بن معاذ، وخالد بن الحارث، وأهل بلده، روى عنه أبو قُدامه عبيد الله بن سعيد، وكان من الحفاظ. كان هو وسفيان الروَّاس حافظَيْ أهلِ البصرة، ولكن عاجَلَهما الموت في شبابهما، فأما بُليل فإنه مات بصنعاء قبل عبد الرزاق. وما أدري من أين للذهبي: أن أبا سعيد الأشجّ روى عنه، فإن الذي في كتاب ابن أبي حاتم: روى عنه عليّ بن المديني، وعُبيد الله بن سَعِيد هكذا مصغَّرًا، وهو أبو قُدَامة الذي ذكره ابن حبان. وكذا ذكره ابن ماكُولا.
