١٢٢٧ - ز- إسماعيل بن مُجَمِّع، ذكره ابن عدي، هو ابن زيد بن مجمِّع [١١٧١]، أو ابن ثابت بن مجمِّع [١١٤٧]، نُسب إلى جدّه، وقد حُكيا على الصواب. وذكرَ محمد بن إسحاق النديم في "الفهرست"، إسماعيلَ بن مجمِّع فقال: هو أحدُ أصحابِ السِّيَر والأخبار، عُرف بصُحْبَة الواقِدِي، ومات سنة سبع وعشرين ومئتين، فلعله هذا. وأما إسماعيل بن محمَّد بن مجمِّع فسيأتي [بعد ١٢٣٢].
