    ٧٣٨٢- قيس والد عطية الكلابي التابعي. نبهت على وهم ابن قانع فيه في قيس بن كلاب في الأول، ووقع في النسائي في حديث طخفة بن قيس في النوم على الوجه لما أورد الاختلاف فيه على الأوزاعي وغيره، ففي بعض طرقه: رواه قيس بن إسماعيل عن الأوزاعي، عن يحيى، عن محمد بن إبراهيم، حدثني عطية بن قيس [عن أبيه قال المزي في الأطراف، كذا قال فالصواب عن قيس بن طخفة] «٤» .
