١١٠٣ - ز - أسد بن علي بن عبد الله بن أبي الحسن بن محمد بن الحسن الغَسّاني، أبو الفضل الحلبيُّ، ذكره ابن أبي طَيّ وقال: كان عَمَّ أبي، ولد سنة خمس وثمانين وأربع مئة وحفظ القرآن وهو ابنُ سبع، وقرأ القراءاتِ بالروايات، وتعلَّم الأصول على مذهب الإمامية، وطَابَ له العلمُ فسافر، وصنَّف في فضائل أهل البيت، جَمعَ فيه ما في القرآن والحديث، ونَقَض كتابَ "العثمانية" للجاحظ، ومات بقُمّ سنة أربع وثلاثين وخمس مئة.
