٦٦٤ - ذ - أحمد بن علي بن عيسى بن هبة اللّه الهاشمي المقرئ، عن أبي غالب بن البنَّا، قال ابن النجار: لم يكن محمودًا. قلت: وقال: سمع من أبي غالبِ بنِ البنَّا، وأبي البَدْر الكَرْخي وغيرهما. روى عنه يوسف بن خليل، وأبو بكر بن مَشِّق. قال: وكان يعرف بابن الواثق، وكان متأدّبًا يقول الشعر، ومنه ما حدَّث به عنه يوسف بن خليل: دَعْ عنكَ فَخْرَكَ بالآباء مُنْتَسِبًا … وافْخَرْ بنفسِكَ لا بالأَعْظُم الرِّمَمِ فكم شريفٍ وَهَتْ بالجهل رُتْبَتُه … ومِنْ هَجِينٍ علا بالعلم في الأمَمِ ومات في سنة ثلاث وتسعين وخمس مئة، وله ثمان وسبعون سنة.
