٣٨٤ - ز - أحمد بن إبراهيم بن إسماعيل بن داود بن حمدون، أبو عبد الله النَّدِيم، ذكره أبو جعفر الطوسي في "مصنِّفي الإِمامية" وقال: شيخُ أهل اللغة، أخذ عنه أبو العباس ثعلب قبل ابن الأعرابي، وأخذ عن علي بن محمد بن علي بن موسى الرِّضا، وكان خَصِيصًا به. وذَكَر ياقوت أنه نادم جماعة من الخلفاء آخِرَهم المعتَمِد، ونَقَل عن جَحْظَة أنه مات في رمضان سنة تسع وثلاث مئة وله اثنتان وسبعون سنة (¬٣).
