    ٤٣٢١ - غالب بن صعصعة بن ناجية بن عقال بن محمد بن سفيان بن مجاشع ابن دارم بن مالك بن حنظلة بن زيد مناة بن تميم (¬٦) . (فت) . هو أبو الفرزدق الشاعر، وأبوه صعصعة محيي الموءودات.قدم على النبي ﷺ فأسلم، وذكر بعضهم أن غالبا هذا هو المحي، والأكثر أنه صعصعة لا محالة، وولد الفزردق سنة عشرين أو نحوها من الهجرة، وتوفي سنة عشر ومائة أول خلافة هشام، وهو ابن تسعين سنة أو نحوها، ومات غالب أول أيام معاوية. ذكره وثيمة عن ابن إسحاق.
