    ٦٤٩٠- عمرو بن جندب بن عمرو العنبري: ذكره سيف في «الفتوح» وقال: أرسله أبو عبيدة إلى فحل. وذكره الطبري في «تاريخه» فقال: كان مع عكرمة بن أبي جهل، إذ توجه إلى ناحية اليمن لقتال أهل الردّة صدر خلافة أبي بكر. قلت: وذكر ابن فتحون أباه بجيم ونون ودال، وضبطه ابن ماكولا بمعجمة وموحدتين مصغّرا، وكذا هو في «تاريخ ابن عساكر» وهو الصواب.
