    ٦٣١٧- عبد اللَّه بن بريد بن عبد اللَّه بن أصرم الهلالي: أبو ليلى. ذكره الذهبي في «التجريد» بعد عبد اللَّه بن البراء، وقال: ذكره ابن الأثير.قلت: ولم أره في «أسد الغابة» في بعض النّسخ، ورأيت بخطّ بعض من نقل عن ابن الأثير أنه قال: إنه مخضرم. ورأيته في «معجم الشعراء» للمرزباني: وقال: هو جدّ زفر بن عاصم، وهو شاعر شامي، وهو القائل في لبابة بنت الحارث الهلالية زوج العباس بن عبد المطلب: ما ولدت نجيبة من فحل ... نسمة من نسل أمّ الفضل أكرم به من كهلة من كهل ... عمّ النّبيّ المصطفى ذي الفضل [الرجز] وضبط «١» الرضي الشاطبي «٢» أباه بموحدة ومهملة مصغّرا.
