    عبد الله بن عبد الملك بن مروان بن الحكم الأموي. ولي الغزو في أيام أبيه، وبنى المصيصة، وكانت داره بمحلة القبابعند باب الجامع. وولي إمرة مصر بعد عمه عبد العزيز إلى أن عزل سنة تسعين بقرة بن شريك. وعن معن، عن مالك قال: مات بسر بن سعيد ولم يدع كفنا، ومات عبد الله بن عبد الملك وترك ثمانين مدي (¬١) ذهب. توفي سنة مائة (¬٢). ١١٥ - خ م ق:
