    نوفل بن مساحق بن عبد الله القرشي العامري الحجازي. روى عن عمر، وعثمان بن حنيف، وسعيد بن زيد بن عمرو بن نفيل. روى عنه ابنه عبد الملك، وعمر بن عبد العزيز، وعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي حسين، وصالح بن كيسان، وغيرهم. وكان على صدقات المدينة، وكان أحد الفقهاء، ولي القضاء سنة ست وثمانين. وتوفي بعد ذلك، وله بدمشق دار، وكان أحد الأشراف الأجواد (¬٣). ١٥٤ - د ن:
