    ٥٤٤٩- عثمان بن حكيم بن أبي الأوقص السلمي: أخو عمر لأمه. ويقال: بل هو أخو زيد بن الخطاب. وقع في البخاريّ ما يدلّ على أن له صحبة، فإنه أخرج في صحيحه، من طريق عبد اللَّه بن دينار، عن ابن عمر، قال: أرى عمر «٢» حلّة على رجل تباع ... الحديث بطولة، وفي آخره: فأرسل بها عمر إلى أخ له من أهل مكة قبل أن يسلم- سمّاه ابن بشكوال في المبهمات: عثمان بن حكيم.
