الشيخ محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن الشيخ محمد الكزبري الشافعي الدمشقي ولد سنة ألف ومائتين وتسع وأخذ عن والده ونشأ في حجره، وأخذ عن غيره من العلماء، إلى أن فاق والده كما قيل، وصار له ذكر بين الناس جميل، وقصده الناس للطلب والحيازة على الأرب، إلا أن المنية قد استعجلته ومن بين الناس قد أخذته، سنة ألف ومائتين وتسع وأربعين ودفن بباب الصغير.
