الشيخ محمد الكيالي الحلبي الأصل والمولد الحنفي القادري الحسني من أولاد سيدنا الغوث الأعظم والقطب الأكرم السيد عبد القادر الجيلاني قدس الله سره، ولد المترجم ﵁ بحلب سنة ألف ومائتين وأربعين تقريباً وبها نشأ، ثم هاجر إلى دمشق واستقام بها، وكان من الصالحين العابدين المعتقدين المواظبين على أذكار الطريقة. توفي أوائل ربيع الأنور سنة ألف ومائتين وأربع وتسعين ودفن في تربة سويقة صاروجا وقبره هناك معروف اه.
