الشيخ عبد الله المعروف بالمرادي بن طاهر بن عبد الله بن مصطفى بن القطب مراد الدمشقي الحنفي الشهير بالمرادي النقشبندي صدر صدور الشام، وبدر العلماء الأعلام، الشهم الكبير، والهمام الشهير.ولد بدمشق ونشأ بها، وقرأ على علمائها، إلى أن صار من أوتادها وأقطابها، فسعى منصب الإفتاء إليه، وعول في أمره عليه، ودام له أحد عشر شهراً ثم فصل عنه ولم يزل على تقواه وعبادته، وتقدمه بين الناس ورئاسته، إلى أن نشبت به أظفار المنية، فحالت بينه وبين المرام والأمنية، فمات مخنوقاً في قلعة دمشق الشام سنة اثنتي عشرة ومائتين وألف ودفن في مقبرة الدحداح رحمه الله تعالى.
