الشيخ عبد الله بن مصطفى بن عبد الله بن محمود العبدلاني الكردي الدمشقي كان حسن الأوصاف، جميل الإنصاف، يميل إلى الحق ميل الصب الهائم، ولا تأخذ في الله لومة لائم، قرأ على العلماء الأفاضل، إلى أن حاز على أجل الفضائل، ولازم والدي مدة طويلة، واستجازه فأجازه إجازة عامة جليلة وكان محبوباً بين الناس، مشهوراً بالجمال والكمال والإيناس، كثير الطاعة والعبادة، حريصاً على الإفادة والاستفادة، مات في شهر رمضان سنة ثمان وسبعين ومائتين وألف ودفن بمقبرة باب الصغير قرب قبر الصحابي الجليل سيدنا بلال بن رباح الحبشي رضي الله تعالى عنه.
