الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن سعدى بن عبد الرحمن بن يحيى بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الوهاب الكناني البعلي الشهير بالتاجي الدمشقي الحنفي أحد العلماء الصالحين والفضلاء المعتقدين، كان إماماً تقياً عابداً حسن المعاملة كثير الإقبال على الله، مشتغلاً بالعلم في ليله ونهاره، دائباً على شغل أوقاته بالاستفادة والإفادة، إلى أن انفرد في زمانه وفاق على أقرانه. مات رحمه الله تعالى ثامن شهر رمضان سنة ثمان وثلاثين ومائتين وألف ودفن في مقبرة باب الصغير رحمه الله تعالى.
