السيد الشيخ عبد الخالق المعروف بابن بنت الجيزي الأجل العمدة الشريف الصالح بن أحمد بن عبد اللطيف بن محمد تاج العارفين المصري المنتهي نسبه إلى سيدي عبد القادر الحسني الجيلي ويعرف بابن بنت الجيزي، وهو أخو السيد محمد الجيزي المتوفى قبل ذلك من بيت الثروة والعز والسيادة. تولى بعد أخيه الكتابة ببيت النقابة ومشيخة القادرية وأحسن السير والسلوك مع الوقار والحشمة، وكان إنساناً حسناً كثير الحياء منحجباً عن الناس مقبلاً على شأنه، وفيه رقة طبع مع الأخلاق المهذبة والتواضع للناس والانكسار، توفي سنة ألف ومائتين وسنة واحدة.
