الشيخ الفاضل راشد بن علي النعامي الحنبلي من آل جريس عالم ناقد، متَّبع ماجد، ذو يد طولى في علم القرآن والحديث، مقتد بالسلف الصالح في كل أمر قديم وحديث، معتصم بالسنّة الصحيحة والقرآن، عامل بما فيهما مذعن لهما كمال الإذعان، وله في ذلك كتب ورسائل، دالة على أنه مجتهد بسائر الفروع والمسائل، وفقنا الله وإياه للصواب، وفتح لنا وله للوصول إلى ما يرضيه أحسن باب، إنه محسن كريم وهاب، توفي في أوائل القرن الثالث عشر.
