الشيخ أحمد بن عبد القادر بن أحمد بن محمد الاعزازي الحنفي المكتبي وكنيته أبو العباس الفقيه البركة الصالح الفالح الناجح. مولده بعزاز قصبة قرب كليس سنة خمس وأربعين ومائة وألف، وقرأ القرآن العظيم وحفظه وجوده وتفقه على أبي محمد عبد الغني المفتي وعلى أبي عبد الله محمد المؤذن وأخذ عنهم، وقرأ على غيرهم واستقام بحلب مدة عمره، وكان يقرىء الأطفال القرآن العظيم مستقيماً على وظائف العبادة والطاعات قائماً بها، كثير الديانة والتقوى، واعتقده الناس وأحبوه، واشتهر صلاحه وورعه بين العموم، وأخذ عنه محمد خليل أفندي المرادي واستجازه. وما زال على تقواه واستقامته إلى أن توفي عام ألف ومائتين وخمسة عشر تقريباً.
