أبو عبد الله محمد بن عيسى المريني قاضي تطيلة قال ابن حيان: كان رجل الثغر، موصوفًا بالشجاعة والعلم والفقه. مثابرًا على الجهاد. رحل وحجّ ولقي مشايخ القرويين والمصريين وتفقه معهم. سمع الحديث. قتل في وقعة البقر سنة أربعمائة بظاهر قرطبة. وكان جاء مع المهدي لحرب البرابرة بجازر فاسه بلده. بعد ابنه.
