الوليد أبو بكر بن مخلد النحوي أبو العباس. أصله أندلسي من سرقسطة، وسكن المشرق، وغلب عليه الحديث. ذكره أبو القاسم الطرابلسي فقال فيه: مالكي نحوي، دخل المشرق، وكان من أهل الحديث، وألّف كتاب الوجارة في صحة القول بالإجارة. روى عنه أبو ذر الهروي في كتابه هذا، وحمزة بن محمد بن طاهر، وأبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الواحد، وأبو الحسين بن الكناس، يروي عن علي بن زكريا الهاشمي. ﵀.
