عبد الله بن عبد الوارث بن متبتل طليطلي. أبو الفرج. قال ابن الفرضي: كان فقيهًا حافظًا، استخلفهابن الجزّار أيام قضائه، بطليطلة. توفي في رمضان سنة ثلاث وسبعين. قال ابن مظاهر: كان مشهورًا بالعلم والفضل، مستوفيًا في الأحكام، من أهل الفقه والورع في جميع أموره. أخذ عن أبي ابراهيم، ووهب بن مسرة، ووهب بن عيسى، ومحمد بن عيشون، ومحمد بن وسيم، وابن جزار القروي، واسماعيل بن بدر. وكان اسمه متبتلًا. فسماه أبو ابراهيم: عبد الله. ﵀.
