أبو إسحاق ابراهيم بن عبد الله الزبيري المعروف بالقلانسي. كان رجلًا صالحًا فاضلًا فقيهًا عالمًا بالكلام، والرد على المخالفين. له في ذلك تواليف حسنة. وله كتاب في الإمامة والرد على الرافضة. سمع من فرات بن محمد، وحماس بن مروان، وابن المغامي. ومحمد بن عبادة السوسي. وخلق كثير. روى عنه أبو ابراهيم بن سعيد، وأبو جعفر الداودي، وغيره. وامتحن على يدي أبي القاسم بن عبيد الله الرافضي. ضربه سبعماية سوط، وحبسه في دار البحر، أربعة أشهر، بسبب تأليفه كتاب الإمامة. وقيل الذي ألفه ابن سحنون. وتوفي ﵀ سنة تسع وخمسين، وقيل سنة إحدى وستين وثلاثماية.
