    ولد أبي بكر محمد بن رمضان بن شاكر، الحميري. وكذا قرأت نسبه بخط الحكم، أمير المؤمنين. وأبوه أحد مشاهير فقهاء المالكية بمصر. وكانت له حلقة بجامعها، مع أبي بكر الحداد، وأبي جعفر الطحاوي، وطبقته. وقد ذكر ابن أبي دليم ولده هذا. وقال: كان صاحب حجة المالكية في وقته، والمناظر دونهم، ولم يذكر باسمه. وكذلك في كتاب ابن حارث، إلاأني وجدت أبا مروان الضبي، ذكر أبا الحسن علي بن يعقوب الزيات، المعروف برمضان. وذكر له زيادة أقوال بعض الفقهاء، في مختصر ابن عبد الحكم. على ما زاده البرقي. فلا أدري أهو ذاك غلط في اسم أبيه، أو هو أحد آل رمضان. والله أعلم. والتأويل الأول أشبه.
