يحيى بن عبد الرحمان المعروف بالأبيض سرقسطي. أبو زكريا. قال ابن الفرضي: سمي بذلك، لأنه كان أبيض الرأس واللحية والحاجبين وأشفار العينين، خلقة، وذكر أن أمه كانت أخت أبيه من الرضاعة. فظهرت فيه هذه الآية. كانت له رحلة قديمة. وكان متصرفًا في ضروب من العلم، متقدمًا في النحو واللغة، وألف فيه كتابًا. ذكره ابن أبي دليم في هذه الطبقة، من فقهاء المالكية. قال: وكان حافظًا. أخذ عنه الناس. وتوفي سنة ثلاث وستين ومائتين.
