أبو إسحاق ابراهيم بن أبي يعقوب بن عيسى بن عبد الله القسطال. وقيل ابن عيسى بن عيسى بن أيوب، مولى سلمة بن عبد الملك الطحاوي، مولى الأزد. ويقال مولى قريش. من أصحاب ابن وهب عنه جلّ روايته، وعن الشافعي. وكتب لعيسى بن المنكدر، وهارون الزهري، والحارث بن مسكين، قضاة مصر. وكان من قبطها. قال الكندي وكان فقيهًا. وتوفي في صدر ستين ومائتين.
