محمد بن الفرج بن عبد الولي الأنصاري (¬١) الطليطلي، يعرف بالصواف، سكن مصر وحدث بها؛ روى عن أشياخ بلده. وكان قد كتب عن جماعة، منهم: أبو الوليد، ومحمد بن الحسين بن السماك، وأبو العباس بن بندار الرازي. قال الرازي في مشيخته: كان فقيها مالكيا، وغلبت [¬٢] عليه الرواية؛ حدث عنه الأمير أبو نصر بن ماكولا، وأبو العباس أحمد بن إبراهيم الرازي، وابنه، وعلي بن مشرف بن مسلم؛ وحدثنا عنه شيخنا أبو القاسم بن النخاس المقرئ (¬٢).
