الليث بن حريش أبو الوليد (¬١) قرطبي، من مشيخة المفتين بها، وولي قضاء المرية، فانتقل إليها، إلى أن توفي بها عقب صفر سنة ثمان وعشرين وأربعمائة، بوجع أصابه ليلته - وقد قارب ثمانين سنة. قال أبو عبد الله بن عتاب: شاهدت القاضي أبا المطرف ابن بشر [¬٢] يتكلم معه في مسألة.
