    أبو الفرج المكي كان نازلا بمكة، ذكره القابسي، قال: وكان من أهل العلم؛ قال: ورآني أرفع يدي عند افتتاح الصلاة قائمتين، وأحنيأصابعي، (وكذلك كان الابياني يفعل (¬١)؛ فقال لي: من أين أخذت هذا الرفع، فإن أصحابنا المغاربة (لا) يرفعون كما تصنع؟ لازم الحد [¬١] واستحسنه، فقلت له أخذناه عن شيوخنا) [¬٢]، وكذلك كان يفعل أبو عمران الفاسي. ومن أهل العراق والمشرق - وأكثرهم أصحاب أبي بكر الابهري:
