    محمد بن دليف [¬٣] أبو عبد الله، مولى لابن عبدوس [¬٤] صاحب وشقة، وشقى [¬٥]. وكان أبو عبد الله من أهل العلم والفصاحة والحفظ لمعاني القرآن وتفاسيره، وكان [¬٦] من العباد المجتهدين، وحج وانصرف، فلزم السياحة والتبتل نحو عشرين عاما، ثم نكح آخرا، وجلس [¬٧] للناس يعلمهم ويفتيهم ويحدثهم. توفى سنة خمس وثلاثين وثلاثمائة.
