حفص بن عمرو بن نجيح الخولاني (¬٦٨٩) البيري، أبو عمر، سمع العتبى و ابن مزين وأبان بن عيسى، وابن مطروح وعمر بن موسى، وابراهيم بن خالد، وابراهيم بن شعيب، وسليمان بن نصر وأصحابه الذين سمعوا من سحنون من أهل البيرة. ورحل فسمع من محمد بن عبد الحكم، ونصر بن مرزوق، وابراهيم بن مرزوق، وابن أخى ابن وهب، وبكار بن قتيبة، ويونس. وكان من أهل الحفظ للمسائل، والتفقه فيها، وعليه كان مدار بلده في الفتوى. وتوفى سنة ثلاث عشرة.
