أحمد بن زكرياء بن يحيى بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمان بن الشامة كذا نسبه أبو سعيد، قرطبى. سمع ابن وضاح، وإبراهيم بن قاسم، وابن باز، والخشني، وغيرهم. وعاجلته المنية قبل لحاق طبقته التي تأتى، فمات في أول هذه المقدمة سنة ثمان وستين ومائتين. قال ابن دليم: وكان موصوفا بالفقه والحفظ.
