    أبو زيد قاسم بن عمرو بن صاعد التميمي سمع من سحنون، وحماد السجلماسي. وولاه ابن طالب مظالم القيروان، إلى عزل ابن طالب في المرة الأولى، ولم يعلم منه في حكومته إلا خيرا.سمع منه أبو العرب وغيره. قال ابن حارث: كان ثقة مأمونا، من أهل الوجاهة والظهور. توفى سنة أربع وثمانين ومائتين.
