أبو إسحاق إبراهيم بن محمد بن حمزة النيسابوري، المعروف بالقطان. وكان من فقهاء المالكية، وأئمة الخراسانيين فيهم، ودرس المذهب بنيسابور، وهو آخر من درس بها مذهب مالك ﵀، ذكر ذلك أبو نصر بن ماكولا الحافظ. قال: وتفقه بعبد الله بن عبد الحكم، الحكم، وسمع أبا عبد الله بن أخى ابن وهب، ويونس بن عبد الأعلى، وأحمد بن منيع ومحمد بن رافع. وتوفى سنة تسع وتسعين ومائتين.
