    ٥١٣١- عبد الرحمن بن ذي الآخرة، الثّمالي: ذكره وثيمة في كتاب الردة. وروى ابن إسحاق أنه ذكره في الرّهط الذين أمرهم رسول اللَّه ﷺ بقتال الأسود العنسيّ، فنهضوا لذلك، منهم عبد الرحمن، وأخوه يزيد. وفي ذلك يقول عبد الرحمن هذا: لعمري وما عمري عليّ بهيّن ... لقد جزعت عنس لقتل الأسود وقال رسول اللَّه سيروا لقتله ... على خير موعود وأسعد أسعد فسرنا إليه في فوارس بهمة «٥» ... على خير أمر من وصاة محمّد [الطويل] واستدركه ابن فتحون.
