    ٥١٠٨- عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان العامري «١» مولاهم، والد محمد. ذكره الطّبرانيّ في الصحابة «٢» ، وأخرج من طريق شيبان بن عبد الرحمن، عن يحيى بن أبي كثير، عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان، عن أبيه- أنّ رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال في خطبته: «إنّ هذه القرية لا يصلح فيها قبلتان ... » الحديث. وتقدم له حديث آخر في ترجمة والده ثوبان «٣» .
