٩٤ - (م) خالد بن خداش بن عجلان المهلبيُّ مولاهم أبو الهيثم البصريُّ سكن بغداد، وهو والد محمد. ذكره أبو حاتم البستيُّ في جملة الثقات (¬٥)، وقال: مات سنة أربع وعشرين ومائتين. وخرج ابن خزيمة (¬٦) والحاكم (¬٧) وأبو عوانة الإسفرايينيُّ (¬٨) حديثه في صحيحهم. وذكره ابن قانع فيمن تُوفِّي سنة أربع قال: وهو ثقة.وقال صاحب «الزهرة»: روى عنه مسلم حديثين. وقال الساجيُّ: كان أحمد يذمُّه. وفي كتاب «الطبقات» (¬١) للقاضي أبي الحسين ابن الفرَّاء: روى عن أحمد بن حنبل مسائل.
